About the Role
Days of Working follow a four-on, four-off pattern
Shift Pattern 07:30 to 15:00
Key responsibilities
• Ensure food quality and taste meet the highest standards
• Manage stock inventory and order raw materials
• Control budgets and minimise wastage
• Maintain strict kitchen health and hygiene standards
• Prepare and cook dishes for clients and customers
• Support the site in the absence of the Senior Chef
Ideal Candidate
• Right to Work in the UK
• Commitment to the highest standards, able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Food-handling certificate welcomed (training can be provided)
• Background in contract catering desirable
• City & Guilds 706 1 and 706 2 or Level 2 Diploma in Professional Cookery (or working toward an equivalent qualification) preferred
• Excellent knowledge of health-and-safety and food-safety regulations
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Passion for food and service with the ability to produce quality seasonal dishes
