About the Role

The Area Support Officer supplies flexible reliable cover across client sites within the region ensuring high standards of security and customer service at all times.

Key responsibilities
• Provide short and long term cover for absences vacancies and special events at client sites
• Deliver quality security services including access and egress control site patrols searches of individuals and vehicles and prompt responses to alarms and incidents
• Record incidents accurately and submit reports on time
• Operate and monitor security equipment such as CCTV access control and alarm systems
• Follow site procedures and company policies to ensure full compliance

Customer and stakeholder engagement
• Build positive relationships with clients staff and visitors by offering professional support and assistance
• Act as the main point of contact for security concerns during each shift and ensure issues are escalated and resolved quickly

Support functions
• Provide training mentoring and guidance to new security personnel when needed
• Adapt quickly to site specific protocols and changing schedules maintaining professionalism in every setting

About You

• Valid SIA License Door Supervisor DS or Security Guard SG
• Full UK driving licence with access to a reliable vehicle
• Experience in a security role with sound knowledge of best practice
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for accurate incident reporting and client interaction
• High adaptability and flexibility to cover different shifts locations and environments
• Excellent problem solving ability and a calm approach in emergencies
