About the Role

Days of Working 08:00 to 16:00

Key responsibilities
• Work with the team to create seasonal food and drink menus for the site and events
• Oversee kitchen assistants, chefs and servers, ensuring daily compliance with legal and company standards
• Train team members on menus, service procedures, company etiquette and safety regulations
• Plan operations within agreed budgets, allocating costs for food, equipment and staffing
• Build strong vendor relationships and secure best-value supplies

What We Are Looking For

• Management experience in contract-catering operations with full understanding of end-to-end service
• Level 3 qualification in Catering and Hospitality or equivalent and proven unit-management experience
• Strong leadership skills to mentor and motivate a team of chefs
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients and staff and meet client expectations consistently
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing demands

Ideal Candidate

• Right to Work in the UK
• Willingness to undergo DBS or enhanced security check
• NVQ Level 3, HNC or HND in Hospitality advantageous
• Excellent customer-service, problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong time-management, organisational abilities and confidentiality
• Competent user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Level 2 food-hygiene certificate beneficial
