About the Role

Days of Working Monday to Friday, eight am to four thirty pm

Key responsibilities
• Maintain a strategic plan for asset service delivery, including surveys, verification, project estimation and contract mobilisation
• Report directly to the Technical Compliance Manager and provide regular client updates and dashboard data
• Produce detailed asset outputs, condition reports and other contract specific reporting
• Lead the implementation of lifecycle and FMR reports to inform capital budgets
• Oversee financial performance of asset survey projects and ensure data flows into the CAFM system
• Examine service output specifications to define asset information needs for the full contract span
• Drive planned services improvements through accurate asset data and reporting
• Act as the central contact for asset strategy, performance and change control
• Review the client asset change risk register to identify and mitigate risks
• Provide condition reports, repair or replacement recommendations and life expectancy forecasts for all assets
• Ensure every aspect of asset management complies with health and safety regulations and legal standards
• Maintain precise documentation retained for twenty one years and stored to regulatory requirements
• Prepare and submit asset condition reports with ongoing recommendations to the Technical Compliance Manager
• Guide asset lifecycle management and develop long term strategies to optimise performance
• Track asset performance and recommend actions to improve reliability
• Coordinate asset projects and repairs with FM teams, contractors and stakeholders
• Oversee two Carriageway and Footpath Coordinators, ensuring accurate reporting within SLA timeframes
• Review and approve inspection reports, then compile portfolio findings each month for costing

Essential Hiring Criteria

• Right to Work in the UK
• Strong engineering background
• Excellent MS Office 365 skills, especially Excel
• Experience in reporting and analysis
• FMR or lifecycle reporting experience using SPONS or similar resources
• Familiarity with CAFM systems such as Concept Evolution
• Highly organised leader who can drive change and translate senior expectations into clear actions
• Understanding of facilities management or engineering environments
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to pass a DBS check
