About the Role
Days of Working Monday to Friday
Shift Pattern One in five on call commitment with additional pay and enhanced rates
You will identify and respond to user needs resolve problems and complaints and liaise effectively with other staff groups. You will train monitor and supervise a technical services team of engineers covering electrical gas plumbing HVAC and fabrication disciplines.
Key responsibilities
• Deliver the service each day by responding to user needs and resolving issues promptly
• Use your technical expertise to perform and teach tasks that ensure high quality service delivery
• Plan inspect and carry out repairs or preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns quickly
• Perform reactive and planned services across offices commercial distribution and industrial sites
• Act as an ambassador for the customer dealing professionally with complaints and queries
• Support and guide engineer sub contractors when on site
• Provide technical guidance to the client and contract support teams
• Ensure all work meets agreed specifications and complies with Health & Safety legislation
• Complete PPM tasks on time and participate in the on call rota one week in four with extra payments
Ideal Candidate
• Right to Work in the UK and a full UK driving licence
• Strong client engagement skills with excellent spoken and written English
• Proactive approach to team organisation for outstanding service delivery
• Qualified in at least one discipline such as gas maintenance electrical maintenance building fabric engineering or plumbing with knowledge of another area desirable
• Understanding of planned preventative maintenance regimes
• Experience in risk assessments method statements and issuing permits to work for hard services
• Familiarity with BMS systems desirable
• Previous supervisory experience
• Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check
