About the Role
Shift pattern seven on three off then seven on four off with eight point five hour shifts
As a CCTV Controller you will operate the CCTV and associated security systems to keep the site safe and secure. You will report to the Security Manager ensuring accurate communication incident escalation and detailed documentation of all activities.
Key responsibilities
• Communicate clearly and accurately sharing all relevant information
• Escalate incidents correctly while maintaining running logs in the operators logbook
• Deploy security resources effectively to manage all incidents and issues
• Operate the CCTV system proactively complete daily site activity risk assessments and keep precise CCTV records
• Operate fire alarm public address visitor management intruder and panic alarms building management system automatic number plate recognition radio and phone systems
• Implement emergency procedures in line with the Incident and Emergency Plan
• Record complaints possible criminal activity and daily activities thoroughly accurately and professionally
Ideal Candidate
• Right to Work in the UK
• SIA CCTV licence essential or Door Supervisor licence
• ACT Awareness certification
• SCaN for CCTV Operators certification
• Strong problem solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication
