About the Role
Days of Working Monday to Friday
Shift Pattern 06:30 to 15:00
Key responsibilities
• Handle day-to-day food preparation and duties assigned by senior chefs to meet site standards and quality
• Manage cooking processes at your station, ensuring timely delivery of dishes
• Follow all safety and hygiene requirements, using utensils and equipment correctly at all times
• Monitor inventory levels and keep the kitchen stocked with fresh ingredients and supplies
• Work with the culinary team to maintain high-quality food and service throughout each shift
What We Are Looking For
• Proven experience as a chef, ideally in contract catering
• Level 2 qualification in Catering and Hospitality or equivalent
• Ability to demonstrate a variety of cooking methods, ingredients and equipment while multitasking under pressure
• Strong teamwork, listening and communication skills
• Sound knowledge of policies and procedures for receiving, preparing, storing and presenting food
Ideal Candidate
• Right to Work in the UK
• City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ catering qualification required
• Level 2 food-hygiene certificate desirable
• Excellent customer-service, time-management and organisational skills
