About the Role
Days of Working Monday to Friday
Shift Pattern 06:30 to 15:00
You will join our catering team at a prestigious client site preparing and serving high quality food and drink for clients and visitors.
Key responsibilities
• Ensure food quality and taste meet the highest standard
• Manage stock inventory and order raw materials
• Control budgets and minimise wastage
• Maintain strict kitchen health and hygiene standards
• Prepare and cook dishes for clients and customers
• Support the site in the absence of the Head Chef
Ideal Candidate
• Right to Work in the UK
• Food handling certificate welcomed training can be provided
• Background in contract catering advantageous but not essential
• City and Guilds 706 1 and 706 2 or Level 2 Diploma in Professional Cookery (or working towards equivalent) preferred
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety and food safety regulations
• Strong communication and customer service skills for interaction with clients and guests
• Genuine passion for food and service with the ability to produce quality seasonal dishes
